I have a Kodak DX 7630 that does something strange.
When I pick it up,even before I turn it on, the Lens extends and pops the
Lens cover off then the Lens then retracts back into the Camera.

Any Ideas?

I like the Camera for its size and the Photos are pretty good so far.

The Camera is less than a year Old.
Never dropped, and well taken care of.
Bought new.
Thanks,
Sam

You either need a repair tech, sounds like an electrical
problem, or
an exorcist.

Greetings,

Yikes that is certainly strange?

I wonder, Sam, how are you picking up the camera. Is there a chance that as
you grasp the camera it is getting turned on? Do you have the dial set to
auto or 'off.' This could be the cause. If not and the dial is turned to the
off position, I would call our team to have the camera checked. Since it is
under warranty and has never had any damage, it would be under warranty. Our
support teams would be able to review and determine what the cause may be.
Of course, there would be no cost to you if it is as described. You can
reach our online team at: 800 235-6325.

Let me know how you make out.
