Hi,

I have a bit of problem with my camera. The thing is i'm not sure if
its a problem with the camera or a setting i am unaware of!!

When pressing the shutter button half way down the camera does not
just attempt to focus but it actually takes a picture.
This is very annoying because sometimes it does not focus on the
object I want it to.

This problem started about a week ago and I'm not sure if it is
because my girlfriend was messing with the settings or if it is a
firmware issue. I have been through the manual and CD in detail and
cannot find any reference to a setting that would cause the camera to
function this way. Therefore I think it is a problem with the camera.

We are going on safari soon and this problem is really bugging me. If
anyone knows whether this is a settings or camera issue then please
let me know how to sort it.

Thanks in advance,
Martin

Martin - I don't know the camera, but is there a "reset to factory
defaults" function?
