Post subject: Sony DSC-V3 camera and VCL-M3358 58mm close-up lens
Archived from groups: rec>photo>digital (more info?)

Sonystyle.com lists this lens as being compatible with the DSC-V3 camera.
I'm trying to figure out what this lens will do for me.

In comparing the DSC-V3 macro performance with and without the close up
lens: Will the close up lens allow me to fill my photograph with a
smaller object? Or will the lens allow me to fill my photograph with
the same size object, but position the camera further away from the
object?

If I use the close up lens, will I lose some functionality of the DSC-V3?
Like autofocus, auto exposure, and auto flash power?

If you have used this lens, please post your thoughts on it. Thank you!
