Kodak DC290 Focusing problems

Hi,

I have a very good condition DC290 with a picture count of 459 (almost
new) but it will no focus properly when taking pictures. I am familiar
with the DC290 as I owned on previously and have exhausted myself
trying to fix this problem. To my understanding the camera has never
been droped or exposed to water. If anyone has any advice on how I can
adress this I would really appreciate it.
