Kodak DC-290 Firmware - Help

I have a Kodak DC-290 digicam which has an E1 firmware error. Does ANYONE
have firmware they could send me for an attempt at repairing my camera. Your
help greatly appreciated.

Kodak continues to offer a firmware upgrade on its web site. You may want to
try updating to the 1.07 version. Not sure about the E1 any longer, but it
might have been from a pin out of place? Another I recall (forgive my old
mind) is damaged lens, but I think that was an E45 error.

Regardless, if you can still update the camera (make sure you have fully
charged batteries). See if it makes a difference and check the camera for
pin damage.
