Have you actually gotten such a deal in a pawn shop?
I like to visit pawn shope, because I never know what I'll find.
But I never see the deals you are talking about.
I have *never* seen a late model, desireable camera (certainly never a
reasonably new DSLR) for sale in in a pawnshop.
It is my extremely strong suspiscion that pawn shop owners have a list
of friends who get first shot at the good stuff - based on the fact
that the good stuff goes in, but never makes it to the shelves.
I can't even find any EF lenses for sale.
