Canon A630--what is this symbol?

Post subject: Canon A630--what is this symbol?

On my screen, when I zoom and depress the button half-way I get a flashing
icon in the lower right corner. It is red, looks like a lobster. It occurs
about 90% of the time when I try and do a zoom shot (auto mode).

Can someone enlighten me as to what is going on?

(Sometimes the picture comes out okay and sometimes it doesn't)

Ah, the lobster warning icon, meaning there may be a lobster behind you.

I think you mean the camera shake warning. It means the camera has
picked a slow enough shutter speed that the image may be blurred. See
page 14 of your "Advanced Camera User Guide".

(This is an example of where icons fail--some things just don't
translate well to graphics. The words "Slow Shutter" would have more
meaning.)

Canon - A630, A640, S3 IS and the near future - I am kind of torn between what camera to get next. I have an Olympus C5050 and it has been a fantastic camera. But 3x optical zoom is a bit sparse. At the same time, I'm craving some higher megapixel counts for 8x10's and maybe 11x14 or possibly..
