I just bought a stylus 500 to replace my Yashica T-4 as a EDC, weather-proof
camera, but the program is driving me nuts.
It seems to favor slow shutter speeds, making sharp pictures even in
"reasonable" light difficult.
Any place I get can a "read out" of the program curve they use?
And I never mess with "modes" on my adjustable cameras, but will any of
these favor a high shutter speed over f stop? Do they really do anything at
all?
The :sports" mode sez it will, but when I compare it to "program", it seems
to do just the opposite or make no difference.
Any help appreciated.
